Participation in the exercises:
It is advised to consult a medical professional prior starting a new exercise regime. You should be in a good physical health prior starting an exercise, yoga or breathing practice. Limitations can be, but not limited to, a high blood pressure, a recent surgery or a stroke, glaucoma or herniated disk.
Participation is at clients own risk. When participating in any exercise or exercise program, there is a possibility of physical injury. If you engage in this exercise or exercise program, you agree that you do so at your own risk, are voluntarily participating in these activities, assume all risk of injury to yourself, and agree to release and discharge Kaisa Yoga and Kaisa Vikla from any and all claims or causes of action, known or unknown, arising out of participation in Kaisa Yoga/Kaisa Vikla’s services or Kaisa Yoga’s and Kaisa Vikla’s negligence.
Pregnant? Congratulations! During the first weeks of pregnancy it is recommended to allow your body to adjust bringing a baby to the world and practicing can be started from 14 weeks onwards with modifications. It is advised to consult a medical professional prior starting the practice. The online content on this site is not suited during pregnancy, the instructions do not cover modifications needed during pregnancy and we highly recommend to find a pregnancy yoga teacher to practice with while expecting.
Prior the practice in-person and in online lessons (via Zoom) inform the teacher (Kaisa Vikla) of your pre-existing injury or special condition so that she can help to customize the practice for you.
Follow the instructions given by the teacher (Kaisa Vikla).
Listen to your body during the class and afterwards. Pay attention to the signs of your body and follow them. If you feel pain during or after the class, please inform the teacher (Kaisa Vikla).
During the practice, you should not experience any pain. If you do, or you are worried of hurting yourself, stop immediately and inform the teacher (Kaisa Vikla). Also, if you feel dizzy or light-headed. The teacher (Kaisa Vikla) can customize the practice for you.
The teacher (Kaisa Vikla) has gained education to give these lessons and is a certified yoga teacher (200h RYT). She ensures to the best of her knowledge that the lessons are safe and that they proceed in good and safe manner. Despite this, it is possible to get an injury or other complaints. Therefore, it is important to follow the guidelines given above.
